The University of Rizal System-Antipolo Campus had recently conducted its 4th Student Research Congress with a theme Responsive Student Researchers: Building ‘Culture of Research’ this January 17, 2013 held at the campus’s Function Room.
Nine groups participated in this year’s congress, which categorized into three— Feasibility Study, Descriptive Study and Experimental Study. Dr. Fe Esperanza, Dr. Rogelio C. Anselmo, and Prof. Jerry Esperanza were invited as panel of evaluators, who reviewed the research presented.
After the presentation, three researches were selected as winner for each category. The winners are: Feasibility Study- “Establishment of Pizzarap House in Antipolo City”, the researchers are Anna Marie R. Asne, Dianna Rose D. Cuello, Mae Ann C. Naquita and Charmaine S. Suarez; Descriptive Study- “Development and Acceptability of Instructional Module in Technology and Livelihood Education (Agriculture) for Second Year College”, the researchers are Meliton C. Cibedan, Rumelafe O. Dela Cruz, and Crisanta M. Mindoro; and Experimental Study- “Acceptability of Sumango Crepe in University of Rizal System Antipolo Campus”, the researchers are Rigel Kent S. Refugio, Charles Brown C. Sto. Domingo, and Naomi G. Shigihara.
The winners will represent the campus in Cluster III Student Research Congress, and eventually winners in cluster level will participate in the University level.
The researches were judged based on research presentation, poster, mechanics, and format.
