It was a back-to-back victory for URSAC after bagging the championship title in this year’s Street Dancing Competition; last year the campus also won the same spot. The raw talent of the students led the victory as they were instinctively selected to represent the campus in the competition. The music were arranged by the students using the drums, lyre, and the gong, which adds ethnic serenity to the beat used in the performance. An alumnus of the campus’s dance troupe helped for the choreography. Dr. Lolita Garcia and Prof. Edward Andrecio, the advisers of Hiyas ng Rizal Dance Troupe, headed the street dancers.

Cristile May Suelan, a fourth year BSBA-HRDM student, won 1st place in extemporaneous. During her speech, she highlighted that the success of the students is the success of the university. She added that the university should prepare the students by honing them to become prepared in the real world. Carmina Sua, a freshman student from College of Hospitality Industry hit 2nd place in Slogan Writing Contest. Her winning slogan is “MOLDING VERSATILE GRADUATES THROUGH ATTAINING A WELL-DEVELOPED UNIVERSITY.”
