The University of Rizal System graduating students class of 2015 participated in the recently conducted graduation ball with a theme “The Black and White Affair: A Night of Elegance and Austerity” on March 28, 2015 at URSAC Covered Court.
Present in the activity was Dr. Danilo Pascual, Campus Director. In his inspirational message, Dr. Pascual encouraged the students to continue perspiring in achieving their goals in life. Prof. Eloisa Bayangos and Prof. Eduard Andrecio, faculty members from College of Education, gave message on behalf of the faculty members, in which both expressed that the students truly manifested the theme of the graduation ball as seen on how they prepared for the night. Engr. Armando Vale, Dean of College of Business, reminded the students the value of etiquette which is apparent on the way the students carry themselves that night.
On the other hand, Prof. Lourdes Tejada, Dean of College of Education, led the candle lighting. In her message she said, “Like the candle, be the best light that you can be, and continue spreading the light…” It was then followed by dinner and cotillion de amor followed.
Prof. Mylene Balagot, faculty member from College of Hospitality Industry, led the wine toasting. Afterwards, Raynald Silot, Michael Buban, and Ted Medina, graduating students from CSSI, COE, and CHI, respectively, gave words of thanks on behalf of their fellow graduating students.
One of the highlight of the night was the awarding of King and Queen of the Night, and Best Dressed for the Night (Male and Female Category). The names emerged as winners were as follow: Mr. Mark Anthony Andes (BSBA-HRDM) and Nikkie Marie Flores (BS Tourism) as King and Queen of the Night, and Juanito Camonia (BS-HRDM) and Ma. Luisa Banaag (BSE-Filipino) as Best Dressed for the Night (Male and Female Category).
The winners were judged by Prof. Eloisa Bayangos, Prof. Rosalyn Dela Cruz, Prof. Ruben Domaoan, and Prof. Batch Natano.
